Glue Strips as shown so that the platform will slide between them. Take care not
to get glue on the inside of the channel.

Cut small piece of wood as shown - make cut as accurately 45 deg as possible,
and drill 4mm hole exactly at right angles to the block. Glue felt to the diagonal face.

Fix 80mm length of studding to flat holder with nuts and washer on either side.
Felt will allow you to remove flat if it needs recoating in the future. Measure
distance X. Now paint inside of tube, whole flat assembly and inside of eyepiece
platform. Paint, matt black (or roughen surface if already balck to prevent light scatter.
